PLANO, a long-established box manufacturer

PLANO, a plastic products manufacturer founded in Illinois, U.S.A., in 1932, launched a tackle box for anglers in 1952, followed by a series of high-quality polypropylene tool boxes. Today, the company manufactures and sells boxes for fishing, hunting, and outdoor use. Many anglers like PLANO boxes because they are easy to use and sturdy. PLANO has announced a new item that will be released in the spring of 2025. These are the Frost Cooler cooler box and the Sportsman’s Trunk storage box.

Frost Cooler” cooler box

The first thing that is likely to catch many people’s attention is the “Frost Cooler” cooler box. Because of its good design and cool coloring, many anglers will want to use it not only for fishing but also for outdoor activities. However, it is not only the appearance that is noteworthy. PLANO has been making plastic boxes to protect valuable fishing equipment for many years, so the box is strong enough. The strength of the box is 100 kg load capacity. In addition, PU (polyurethane foam) foam, which has better insulation properties than EPS (expanded polystyrene foam), is used on six sides to provide up to 120 hours (five days) of cold insulation (the time it takes for all ice to melt in a cooler filled with ice at 30°C). The coolers are also designed for ease of use with a two-stage buckle, rubber bottom, and internal basket net. The 30L model is also equipped with a drain hole for convenient draining of water during cleaning and for draining melted ice. It also features a bottle opener and removable divider.

Available in two colors, Inland Green and Storm Gray.

This box will also be available in the spring of 2025. It is a system storage box for storing not only fishing gear, but also camping equipment and other small items. Fishing and outdoor activities involve many items, and this box can organize and store them while securely guarding them from the outside. It is ideal for organizing items in the car, parking lot, and of course, in the fishing tackle room. The boxes are sturdy and can be stacked on top of each other. It is available in three sizes: S /50L, M /65L, and L /100L.
