Waterproof jackets and pants are no longer just raingear, but have become essential items for offshore fishing. Even in extremely hot weather, a squall can wet you with just a T-shirt and shorts, and when the boat runs after the weather clears up, the vaporization heat can take away your body temperature at once, making you shiver and experience cold temperatures.
