A set of tie rubber items! Convenient, Daiwa Red Fang Bay Rubber Free Beta Rubber Assortment Pack

Important tie changes can be done with just one set of these!

The tilefish game is a Japanese-born lure consisting of a lead head, tie, and hook. It is one of the easiest lure fishing methods for beginners because you can catch red sea bream by simply dropping the lure to the sea bottom and reeling it in. However, if you want to consistently catch fish, catch fish in difficult conditions, or get closer to catching fish than the other anglers around you, you need to think while searching, understand the situation, and change your attack method or change the tie-raba accordingly. The easiest and most important way to do this is to change ties. There are various types of ties, each with different movements and appeal. And ties can be effective in different regions. If this is the case, anglers who have done tie rubbers will bring a variety of shapes and colors to the fishing grounds. If you are a first-time tie rubber angler, you should first prepare several kinds of tie rubbers. Then, they rotate them and look for the right movement. This is one of the pleasures of tilefishing.

The assortment pack, which is convenient for such tie rotation, is now available from Daiwa’s tie rubbers brand, BENIKI. This assortment pack contains five different types of ties in one head. The best ones were selected by interviewing experienced captains of tilefishing boats. It is ideal for beginners who are just starting out in tie-ruba fishing, and is also recommended for experienced anglers who want to “try out” the ties in the set. Incidentally, the set comes with different ties for shallow areas (60-120g) and deep areas (150-200g), making it suitable for a variety of areas and scenes.

Tie set for shallow areas

Mr. Issei Nakai, captain of Kairyu, a pleasure fishing boat in Kata, Wakayama Prefecture, supervised the production of the shallow-area tie set. Mr. Issei Nakai is a tester for Daiwa Red Fang and a captain angler who supervises and tests a variety of items and goes out to sea bream fields all over Japan. Mr. Nakai selected a shallow water tie for fishing shallows shallower than 80m, basically a set-up designed for vertical fishing. Nakai tunes his set-up with a basic regular straight lure by default, which is most effective during times when the lure is not biting. A single curly bait that works well when the current is slow and the tide is vertical. The combination of twin curly baits with strong appeal.

Tie set for deep areas

The deep area tie set was supervised by Captain Toshiya Hirata of JUMBO, a pleasure fishing boat in Kagoshima’s Kinko Bay. Mr. Hirata selected this tie set for deep areas deeper than 80 meters, and for the rapid current of the Doteras. As in the shallow area, a basic regular straight is set by default, and a Nakai tune and another straight are prepared for use when the fish do not bite. In addition, twin curly baits are set up for big one-shot fish. This is a selection only a captain who knows deep sea fishing well can make.

The entire assortment pack is packaged together. After use, the tie and head can be stored in the button type package by removing the backing paper at the same time.

The lineup includes five different head and tie colors for shallow and deep water, respectively. The head colors are red, orange, akakin, kaymurad chartreuse, and sakura glow. The photo shows Keimurad Chart (shallow set and UV illuminated) and Sakura Glow (deep set and luminescent).

Ties are easily replaced with the “Beta System

This assortment pack is a model that uses the “Beta System,” which allows the angler to pass the tie through a ring of Daiwa’s unique shape and fasten it with a cap. The tie can be easily replaced without cutting the leader, allowing the angler to quickly adapt to the situation.

(1) Attach the replacement hook to the ring.
1. Thread the hook’s chichiwa part through the ring.
2. Insert the ring through the hook.
3. Tighten the ring so that the knot between the ring and chichiwa is on the thick side of the ring.

  1.

(2) Pass the leader through the head and cap, in that order, and tie into the ring. When putting the leader through the cap, insert it through the small hole.

(3) Insert the skirt or tie into the ring and pull it out to the desired position.

(4) Once the desired position is determined, insert the cap while returning it in the direction of the arrow.

(5) Hold down the cap and pull the leader to secure it firmly in place.
